Advanced Process Control

Advanced Process Control (APC) is a control and optimization technology that enables measurable and sustainable improvements in production yield combined with the added value of energy savings. APC typically consists of Model Predictive Control (MPC) or Soft Sensors (inferential property estimation), which provide more advanced stability and control by leveraging multivariate analysis and estimated product properties in real time. APC makes automation in production feasible, i.e. reduces both, energy consumption (and GHG emissions) and workforce (= lower costs).
