Credit Lines for Investment in Climate Friendly Tech

Financial support is offered by several organizations with international coverage. Such investment funds aim to support businesses with financial aid and other forms of contributions to help in the implementation of abatement activities useful e.g., to improve process efficiency or optimize energy use. The Nitric Acid Climate Action Groupe (NACAG) is a particular example of an initiative that is offering financial support for the reduction of nitrous oxide emissions from nitric acid plants located in countries that are eligible for Official Development Assistance (ODA). Different funding streams are developed depending on the conditions of funding and the sub-sector targeted. In most cases, there is an application procedure that includes 1) application for support, 2) eligibility check, 3) grant agreement for financial and technical support, 4) installation and maintenance of technology, and 5) emissions reduction.
