Advances in Assessing Sustainable Circular Chemical Economy
The Focus Day is a by-invitation-only gathering bringing together approximately 30 senior leaders from industry, policy, and academia to discuss the theme “Advances in Assessing Sustainable Circular Chemical Economy,” which reflects the growing urgency to develop rigorous, actionable methodologies and metrics that can guide the transition to a truly circular and sustainable chemical sector.
The Panel discussion, a mix of academia, policy, and industry, is planned to give a holistic picture of the impacts and progress of sustainable chemistry towards achieving net-zero targets. It would be interesting for the audience to understand the sector-specific challenges more at the system level. It would also be nice to touch down on the universal standardised metrics/indicators under GFC or any other UN declaration that promotes science and policy working together.
