Global Bioeconomy Summit 2026
Be part of the conversation. Be part of the transformation.
The Global Bioeconomy Summit 2026 will take place in Dublin, Ireland on 20-21 October 2026 at the Convention Centre Dublin. The Summit is being organised by the International Advisory Council on Global Bioeconomy (IACGB) in collaboration with the Government of Ireland.
The bioeconomy offers a unique opportunity to deliver on climate action, regenerate ecosystems, and drive inclusive socio-economic transformation. However, its promise can only be realised through collective commitment and coordinated action.
The Global Bioeconomy Summit 2026, hosted in Dublin, will convene leaders from policy, science, industry, and civil society to explore how the bioeconomy can be scaled as a force for change. The Summit will highlight how bio-based solutions address pressing global crises—ranging from food and energy security to health, biodiversity loss, and climate resilience—while ensuring that their deployment is inclusive, equitable, and socially accepted.
Through high-level dialogues, knowledge-sharing, and interactive sessions, participants will have the opportunity to:
- Contribute to shaping global, national, and regional bioeconomy strategies
- Engage with cutting-edge science, technology, and innovation
- Build cross-border partnerships and networks for investment and collaboration
- Showcase and learn from local solutions with global impact
- Join the effort in developing actionable climate and nature-positive outcomes from bio-based solutions aligning market uptake with sustainable supply, resilient value chains and shaping policy and practice beyond 2026
