ISC3 in cooperation with ESCP launches new initiative:

Advancing Sustainable Manufacturing in Southeast Asia

On January 20, 2026, we were pleased to welcome brands, suppliers, industry partners, and key stakeholders from across the toy industry to our webinar on Sustainable Manufacturing in Southeast Asia. The strong turnout and lively discussion reflected a shared commitment to advancing more responsible and sustainable manufacturing practices throughout the region.

During the session, we officially introduced our new Sustainable Manufacturing in Southeast Asia initiative, delivered through a partnership between the Ethical Supply Chain Program (ESCP), the International Sustainable Chemistry Collaborative Centre (ISC3), and the develoPPP program.

The webinar outlined the initiative’s scope, objectives, and planned activities, with a particular focus on:

  • Responsible chemical management
  • Improved working conditions
  • Gender inclusive and ethical production practices

Special attention was given to the toy industry and its value chain, recognizing both the challenges and opportunities for meaningful impact across manufacturing operations in Southeast Asia.

Call for Industry Partners

We are now actively seeking industry partners to engage in and support this initiative. Companies interested in contributing to safer, more sustainable manufacturing practices across Vietnam, Indonesia, and the wider Southeast Asia region are encouraged to get involved.
